The developer of WorkingArtist, Ron Gafron, has decades of experience in software development, was a pioneer in the use of the Internet for business purposes, and has worked as a ceramicist and professional nature photographer. The original developer of WorkingArtist, Kathryn Townsend, is a working artist and began this project in 1994 using Microsoft Access as a development tool. WorkingArtist was designed for artists who create unique or limited edition artwork.
