#Q1023 - Creating HTML Documents in WorkingArtist. You can create simple HTML documents in WorkingArtist 3.0. The HTML document can include your artwork images along with selected artwork information. You can create these documents from several places within WorkingArtist: --From the Footprints icon on the toolbar. Click on the Footprints icon on the toolbar, click on the Create HTML button after selecting artwork and the items to be included. --From the Artwork Reports dialog select the Artwork HTML report and select the artwork and the items to be included. Click on Preview. --From Consignment, Project, Registry, Show and Invoice Reports select the Text, HTML, Datasheet report. A dialog will display for you to select the items to be included. HTML Dialog OptionsHTML Heading. Data entered into this field provides the heading for the document. By clicking on the Make Heading Default button, the current heading can be set as the default. The default heading can also be entered within Artist Info/Options/HTML tab. Insert the default on the HTML Dialog by clicking on the Get Default HTML Heading button. HTML Text. Data entered into this field provides the text at the top of the document. By clicking on the Make Text Default button, the current text can be set as the default. The default text can also be entered within Artist Info/Options/HTML tab. Insert the default in the HTML Dialog by clicking on the Get Default HTML Heading button. HTML Document Folder. This is the destination folder on your hard drive for the HTML document that you are creating. When you click on the SAVE button, WorkingArtist 3.0 will display a Browse dialog pointing to your HTML document folder. You must specify a name for the HTML document on the Browse dialog. If you have not designated an HTML Document Folder, you can select one in the Browse dialog. Include Individual HTML Docs for Image Resize. If you want to create a separate, larger HTML document for each image, check the "Include individual HTML docs for image resize" tag. When you use this option, double-clicking on the image in the main html document will display the individual HTML document for that image. If you do not check this option, double-clicking on the image in the main html document will display the individual image in its native size. Resize Image Display By. To increase the size of the individual image HTML, select a multiplier from the Resize Image Display By combo box. Copy Image Files. If you are going to upload your images to your website or send as an attachment to an email, you can group the selected images together by selecting a copy option. --Do not copy image files to HTML document folder. --Copy image files to the HTML document Folder. WorkingArtist 3.0 will copy your image files from their current location on your hard drive to the folder you select for the HTML document folder. --Copy image files to the HTML document Subfolder. WorkingArtist 3.0 will copy your image files from their current location on your hard drive to the subfolder you designate in the 'Destination Subfolder Name' field, in the HTML Document Folder. Destination Subfolder Name. If the option 'Copy image files to the HTML document Subfolder' is selected, you must enter a name for the subfolder, such as 'images' that will be created in the HTML Document Folder. Image Location OptionsThe Image Location designates how the images are referenced in the HTML document.Current Slide Location Option. The references to the images in the HTML document point to the folder on your hard drive which you have designated as your 'Default Image File Folder" in WorkingArtist 3.0/Artist Info/Slide Show. Select this option if you want to print the html from your own computer and are not going to upload your images to your website or send them to another person, or for testing purposes. Other Folder Location Option. The references to the images in the HTML document point to a folder of your choice on your hard drive. You must enter the path to the folder or use the Browse button to locate it. Make sure that the image files you are selecting for the HTML document exist in the Other Folder. HTML Document Folder Option. The references to the images in the HTML document point to the same folder that you select for the HTML Document. Use this option if you want to send the HTML document as an email attachment or copy to CD. When you select this option the image files that you select are automatically copied to the HTML Document Folder. --If you want to send the individual files that are created (HTML and image files) as email attachments be sure to select the 'Copy images to HTML Document Folder' option. You cannot send subfolders as attachments. --If you have WinZip, you can zip all the files together and send the zip file as an attachment to an email message. In this case, you can select to copy the image files either to the HTML Document Folder or designate a subfolder in the HTML Document Folder. --You must tell the recipient of your attachments or zip file to place all of the files (and subfolder if created) into a single folder on their hard drive to be able to view the document. Then simply double-click on the main html document. Artist Website URL Option. The references to the images in the HTML document point to your website URL. Select this option if you are going to upload your images to your website. You must enter the address to your website in Artist Info-Options/Artist tab or on the HTML form. You must upload your images to your website. If you have selected to copy your images to a subfolder, make sure that the subfolder also exists on your website. Other URL Option. The references to the images in the HTML document point to your another website address. Select this option if you are going to upload your images to another website. You must enter the address of the other website in the Other URL field. You must enter the address to your website in Artist Info-Options/Artist tab or on the HTML form. You must upload your images to your website. If you have selected to copy your images to a subfolder, make sure that the subfolder also exists on your website. Back to the top | ||
