#Q1016 - WorkingArtist User's Forum Guidelines Following are guidelines for using the WorkingArtist User's Forum. You are welcome to post questions about WorkingArtist. We will try to answer your technical support questions within 24 hours. The purpose of the group is to provide technical help to people who use WorkingArtist. However, there may be other topics of interest. You are all welcome to give feedback to any post, to help each other or to start a new topic related to art matters. Need an Answer to a problem? 1) Start by doing your own research. Look in the WorkingArtist help file or the WorkingArtist User's Guide first! You can also look on the WorkingArtist FAQ page and see if your question is listed or go to the WorkingArtist Knowledge Base page and see if there is an article addressing your question. 2) If you can't find the answer to your question in Help or the User's Guide, then please post your question to this forum. 3) If you need help with learning how to use your computer, please take a class or get a video such as Video Professor (1-800-478-5996) or get an introductory book about your operating system. Please adhere to the following: 1) We don't mind if you share information about products that have been useful to you, but please don't post blatant advertising. 2) Please don't post "Spam", chain-letters, job postings or other irrelevant material. Everybody gets enough of this in their personal mail-boxes. Asking questions the right way: 1) Please post your questions, answers and followups to the Forum and not by personal email. This way, everybody has the benefit of "listening" to the discussion. 2) Use a good subject line. The subject line should be brief, yet descriptive of the problem, and also include the version of WorkingArtist that you are using. 3) Messages in all caps is considered shouting, annoying and rude. Messages in all lowercase are somewhat harder to read. So, leave the caps lock off, and use that shift key when appropriate. You may of course use caps to emphasize a word. 4) If you get an error message or error number in WorkingArtist please include this information in your post. 5) Letting us know specifics helps us answer your questions. 6) Things get missed. If you don't get an answer in 2 days, re-post after re-reading your first post for clarity. 7) Let folks know what worked when you thank them. Back to the top | ||
